Ahmodu Ali White Paper: Disregard Further Action From Kogi Elders,Igala Vanguard Cautions as Emma Omebije, Sule Iyaji Differ.

 
 
The Council Igala Vanguard has appealed to the Ahmodu led Kogi East Elders Council(KEEC),to stop forthwith,his unilateral decisions to further pollute the political landscape of Kogi East, after the submission of his recommendations to the Attah of Igala,HRM Michael Idakwo Amen Oboni 11 A statement issued by Engineer Lawrence Akpa on behalf of the Igala Vanguard, said this decisions became necessary in view of the premeditated and self arrogated arrangements to issue a white paper endorsing Sani Lulu of APC and AM Salihu Atawodi (Rtd),of PDP ,as the official candidates of the two strong rival party’s in kogi endorsed by the elders KEEC .
This is also contrary to the decision of Sule Iyaji led KEEC report ,that recommended six aspirants from the three axis that formed kogi east Senatorial zone According to the former deputy governor,Dr Senator Ahmadu Ali has resolved to doctor the committee’s report submitted by the KEEC,by infiltrating and smuggling in the two names from Idah axis,Sani Lulu and Salihu Atawodi to narrow down the contest to Idah affairs,justifying his decisions through the impending white paper Alhaji Sule Iyaji on his own part wondered how the Senator arrived at such a dangerous decisions, to include two other names that were not featured in the contest, outside the decision of KEEC,saying it is not possible for somebody who did not write exams to get result Iyaji insisted that six candidates that made the list of KEEC were Joseph Erico,Idris Omede and Ubolo Okpanachi of PDP ,while Professor Seidu Ogah,Usman Jibrin and Mohammed Audu of APC made the list .
He said the belated cogitation of Senator Dr Ahmadu Ali’s committee is null and void and had little or no effect,if taken,saying the job of the committee was long wound down, soon after It’s last recommendations to the paramount ruler of Igala land,the Attah of Igala He alleged that, with the current status and the position of Attah Igala,the board of trustees Chairman,having endorsed Kogi governor,Alhaji Yahaya Bello for a second term in office,has constrained the entire resolution of KEEC as shreds of paper of no any value of any sort According to Engineer Akpa,anything short of the Senator Ahmadu Ali,ceasing to take any further action,will be regarded as a deliberate and calculated attempt in alliance with the current administration in Kogi,to weaken the ranks and files of aspirants who were determined to wrest power from the current trend of corrupt and insensitive leaders piloting the affairs of the state He wondered the double edge interest of Senator Ali committee, even after creating a very serious disaffection between the top contenders of the stool to kogi governor from the eastern part, to narrow down the chances of the aspirants out to confront the current administration.
Igala Vanguard warned on the consequences of already outlawed decisions of KEEC,that was derived on personal interest of the members and principal actors, to shortchange the bright chances of the people kogi east returning to the leadership of the state He urged the general public to disregard the impending decisions and position of Senator Dr Ahmadu Ali,as an afterthought,self centred and not the collective bargaining of the people “At this trying period,the good people of Kogi east had resolved to approach the leadership position in the two main political party’s with all seriousness it deserves,saying anything short of that,is unacceptable and indecision on the part of the current handlers”
He promised to create an enabling environment to any ambitious candidate from Kogi east,determined to change the trend of under development different from the current realities in Kogi by November Reacting to the statement credited to the Ahmadu Ali led committee,frontline aspirant of the  PDP who preferred anonymity,disown such needless insinuations,saying the only role vested on the committee is advisory,impressing that it had no legal teeth to contrive any white paper of any form,binding on the people of Kogi east for the next election insisting that is only a constituted authority vested with government power that can only issue a white paper that no single tribal committee or an individual has power to issue white paper.
Emmanuel Omebije the PDP governorship aspirant for the forthcoming election expresses his disappointment said the committee suppose to be a thing of honour, has lost it respect, hat he honoured the committee because  of the tribal affiliation attached to it never known they have a preplanned agenda ,Ebije said he wonder how the committee come out with such conclusion of disqualifying aspirant  after he was called and congratulated by the secretary of the committee, to him is only the political party screening committee that has such power.
