Natasha Osawaru, wife of Nigerian music icon 2baba and legislator representing Egor Constituency in Edo State, has been honoured with the Best Legislator Award at the 2025 National Leadership Awards held in Abuja.
The award recognises Osawaru’s impactful work in her political career, notably her efforts on women’s empowerment, education, healthcare, and youth development. She has championed key bills and led community projects such as scholarships, free medical outreach, and skill development initiatives benefiting her constituents.
Expressing gratitude, Osawaru dedicated the award to the people of Egor Constituency, saying, “This recognition is for the people of Egor Constituency, Edo state, whose trust drives my commitment to women empowerment, education, healthcare, and youth development. Together, we rise!”
