Governor Abdullahi Sule might had disclosed his intention for appointing the Secretary to the State Government in secret with some of his confident who unturned leaked the indoor discussion with others even before an official announcement.

This has accelerated tension in the state and hitting the policy as the social media is awash consequent on hearing the information which is yet to have an official document backing the alleged appointment of the immediate past Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice ,Barrister Shuaibu Labaran Magaji.

Since the dissolution of the cabinet penultimate weeks ,some persons had been lobbying directly and indirectly using their supporters profiling them to draw the attention of the governor to name their favoured individuals in the next cabinet

Among those penciled by their supporters for the job of the state scribe includes the former speaker Ibrahim Balarabe, Honourable Muazu Maifata,the immediate past Lafia Local Government Chairman, Prof Mohammed Mainoma Akaro and Barrister Labaran Magaji.

But in swift reaction Barrister Shuaibu Labaran Magaji who could have been secretly made the choice of the governor awaiting an official pronouncement have due to the leaked secret distance himself on the matter

As according to him in a statement he personally signed and being circulated” My attention has been drawn to social media reports of my appointment as SSG of Nasarawa State following the recent dissolution of the State Executive council by His Excellency Governor Engr Abdullahi Sule FNSE and I wish to clarify that there has been no official correspondence or announcement regarding my appointment in that regard or in any capacity.

” I urge the general public to disregard any reports circulating on social media that claim otherwise, as these do not originate from verified government sources. It is important to rely on official channels for accurate information” He submits.
