Zenith Bank Lights Up Ajose Adeogun Street To Usher In Yuletide Season

Continuing its celebrated annual tradition, Zenith Bank has once again brought the spirit of Christmas to Lagos with the dazzling illumination of Ajose Adeogun Street and Roundabout on Saturday, November 23, 2024.

The Light-Up ceremony, which marked its 18th edition, was performed by the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive of Zenith Bank Plc, Dame (Dr.) Adaora Umeoji, OON.

The event is part of the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, which has transformed the street into an iconic yuletide attraction for nearly two decades.

Ajose Adeogun Street, home to Zenith Bank’s corporate headquarters, has become synonymous with the Christmas season, drawing families, tourists, and residents to marvel at the stunning decorations and capture the festive ambiance.

Speaking at the ceremony, Umeoji highlighted the bank’s commitment to celebrating the season and creating unforgettable experiences for the community.

“Over the years, Zenith Bank has hosted this spectacular event, transforming the entire Ajose Adeogun Street into a breathtaking yuletide wonderland. Our elaborate decorations have become a global attraction, shared widely on social media,” she said.

She urged attendees to embrace the spirit of Christmas, emphasising love, kindness, generosity, and respect for humanity.

Umeoji also expressed gratitude to the Lagos State Government for its support and applauded the efforts of Quantum Markets, the creative team behind the annual decorations.

“I want to thank the management of Quantum Markets for the beautiful, creative, and innovative designs they bring to life every year. They continue to exceed expectations, and we look forward to what they will do next,” she added.

Zenith Bank’s Light-Up event is a reflection of its dedication to the economic, cultural, and social development of its host communities.
