The Neo Black Movement of Africa (NBM) has unequivocally dissociated itself from the Black Axe Confraternity, a group labeled as a criminal organization by Interpol. At a press conference in Lagos, Nigeria, NBM leaders Olorogun Ese Kakor and Hon. Efe Akpokiniovo denied any links to Black Axe and condemned the malicious efforts to associate them with the criminal group.

The NBM stated that expelled members and non-members are behind the conspiracy to malign and defame the organization. They emphasized that NBM is a structured and disciplined entity working towards Pan Africanism, social justice, and equality, with a motto of “social justice, equality, and equity for all.”

The group welcomed investigations by security agencies and offered to open their books and bank accounts for audit and review. They also called for collaboration between Interpol, EFCC, and the Nigeria Police to clamp down on individuals associated with financial crimes.

NBM highlighted its humanitarian efforts, having carried out over 2,000 services in welfare, education, and healthcare within the last two years. The organization remains committed to empowering the underprivileged and achieving its objectives through legal means.
