Deputy Governor of Delta State, Mr. Monday Onyeme, has called on members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to work tirelessly towards returning the party to power in 2027. He made this statement during a courtesy visit from non-working members of the State Executive Committee in Asaba.

Onyeme’s comments come amid the current fuel scarcity and price hikes, which have significantly impacted Nigerians’ standard of living. He emphasized the importance of learning from past mistakes and working towards a better future for the country.

He encouraged PDP members to remain loyal and strong, both in and out of office, and to work towards redeeming Nigeria from its current challenges. Onyeme expressed hope for a better future under PDP leadership, citing the party’s past achievements and commitment to democratic freedom and listening to citizens’ concerns.

The deputy governor thanked the visiting party executives and congratulated those who won elections into various positions within the party. The group’s chairman, Mr. Morgan Ogapha, reiterated their commitment to serving the party and the people of Delta State.
