Bandits Storm Nasarawa state, Kill Primary School Teacher, Abduct Nine.

A devastating attack on Lokogoma community in Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State has left a primary school teacher, Yakubu Mohammed, dead and nine others abducted. The gunmen, suspected to be bandits, struck around midnight on Friday, leaving a trail of fear and uncertainty in the community.

Two of Mohammed’s children were among those abducted, along with seven other residents, including two women. A woman was also reported to have sustained bullet injuries during the attack.

The Nasarawa State Police Command has confirmed the incident and launched an investigation. Spokesman DSP Ramhan Nansel assured that efforts are being made to rescue the abducted individuals and bring the perpetrators to justice.

The community is in a state of fear as the search for the abducted victims continues. The incident is a stark reminder of the growing insecurity in the region, and the need for urgent action to protect lives and properties.
