Senator Sumaila Kawu, who represents Kano South, has disclosed that the total monthly earnings of each senator amount to N21 million.
This revelation comes just a day after the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission announced that each of the 109 senators in the upper house earns a combined total of N1.06 million monthly in salaries and allowances.

In an interview with the British Broadcasting Hausa Service on Wednesday morning, Senator Kawu explained that while his monthly salary is approximately N1 million, his total earnings, which include various allowances, reach N21 million.
