The National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF) has taken a significant step towards revitalizing its operations, as newly appointed Executive Secretary, Comrade Tosin Adeyanju, met with key stakeholders in the National Assembly. The meeting with Senator Suleiman Kawu Sumaila, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Sports, and Hon. Chief Canice Moore Chukwugozie Nwachukwu, Chairman of the House Committee on Inter-Governmental Affairs, marks a new chapter in the agency’s efforts to promote good causes in sports development, education, health, social services, public welfare, and disaster management in Nigeria.
During the meeting, Adeyanju presented his revival plans for NLTF, which aims to enhance the agency’s impact and effectiveness in supporting vital sectors of the Nigerian society. Both Senator Sumaila and Hon. Nwachukwu expressed their confidence in Adeyanju’s leadership and pledged their support for his initiatives.
Senator Sumaila described Adeyanju as “young and vibrant, with the potential to add significant value to the NLTF.” Hon. Nwachukwu commended Adeyanju’s plans, stating that they have earned his respect, and pledged to work together towards achieving the Renewed Hope agenda.
