Greenfield University Kaduna is set to produce top-notch graduates in the field of cyber security and other ICT related areas. The Founder and Pro-Chancellor of the institution, Engr Chief Simon Nwakacha made this known in a chat with media practitioners.
Engr Nwakacha who spoke after the signing of the memorandum of understanding between Greenfield University Kaduna and Top Faith University Mpakata, Akwa Ibom on Monday, 12 February, said that with the arrangement between the two private universities, student in thr two institutions would be open to greater opportunities in the ict world.
He further explained that the aim of signing the memorandum was to ensure seamless flow of knowledge between the students two top universities and to ensure the greater understanding of ℹ️ technology by the students.
“As you can see, Greenfield University has established a world class Cyber security Lab in order ensure that the students here get the necessary and most advanced training in cyber security and ICT sectors .
” We are doing that in collaboration with another world class private university, Top Faith University Mpakata Akwa Ibom.
The Pro-Chancellor also disclosed that GFU is discussing with giant tech Huawei with the view of establishing and ICT academy which would also propel the students of the varsity to greater height .
“However, we are expanding our collaboration and taking it to the next level.As we speak, we re discussing with Huawei with the aim of establishing an ICT academy here within the university so that our graduates would be fully versed in all the ICT sectors.
Speaking, earlier, Founder and proprietor of Top Faith University, Dr. Emmanuel Thomas Abraham described the Cyber security Lab which Incidentally was named after him as world class and one of the best in the world .
Dr.Abraham also noted that, Greenfield University was designed with the aim of producing entrepreneurs and scholars as graduates and that he was happy to be associated with the varsity
“Greenfield University Kaduna is an institution that that is aimed at developing entrepreneurs and ict students who would later make meaningful impart in the world when they graduate .
“I have taken a walk round the university and with what I saw, I can comfortably say that it is a world-class varsity.I have learnt a lot and I will be taking a lot of lessons back to Top Faith University
