The Kogi State Government has issued a query to the Abdulrazak Isa Koto, Ohimege Igu Kotonkarfe and chairman, Lokoja/Koto Traditional Council, for his failure to maintained peace during the time the Social Democratic Party SDP candidate Alhaji Muritala Ajaka visited Koto-Karfe, the Government also accused the traditional ruler of not showing more concern after the two sides attacked each others that lead to the death of a lady .
The government therefore concluded that the Traditional Ruler took sides and hence directly involved in partisan politics, the action that has since elated condemnation with political observers believe that the state government is only trying to transfer aggression over poor Performance of the ruling All Progressive Congress APC party in Koto.
Speaking to OBSERVERSTIMES in Koto, Mallam Ibrahim Usman admitted that the traditional ruler even endorsed Usman Ododo openly because he is the candidate of the government that some people are only out to be Mischievous and trying to take advantage of the situation to get back at the Traditional ruler has guided the entire locality with much wisdom.
He further advised the government not to be dragged into mud as going against the tradition and custom of the people of Kotonkarfe people , condemned the query and called on government to have regards for the traditions and not act on hearsay’s by those who think the have the ears of the Government.
Another resident who speaks on anonymity accused the governor of trying to intimidating the traditional ruler .
