Ahead of the governorship election in Kogi State, Usman Ododo of All Progressives Congress APC has received an endorsement from the late Abubakar Audu’s political structure for the interest of the party .
The endorsement took place in a unanimous decision after the meeting of the Audu/ Faleke group in Abuja today ahead of official flags off campaign ceremony of the APC in Kogi state.
The leader of the group and former deputy governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress at the 2015 election, James Faleke, who is currently the Chairman House Committee on Finance noted that those at the event were representatives of the group from the three senatorial districts of the state, Kogi East, West and Central .
The decision to work for their party, the ruling APC is for the overall interest of the state and Nation, the meeting was attended by prominent people like , Isha Daniel Prof, former Director General Audu/ Faleke governorship campaign, Sen Emmanuel Dagana, Hon Tim Diche etc. Rt Hon. Faleke charged members of the All Progressives Congress to close ranks for the total wellbeing of the party in coming days.
