The Sultan of Sokoto and President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III and the president of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Samson Olasupo Ayokunle, will meet in Abuja today over the state of the nation, Daily Trust Report.
The meeting is part of activities for this year’s Interfaith Dialogue Forum for Peace 3rd Annual General Assembly and Peace Conference, with the theme: “Interreligious Dialogue: Strengthening the Culture of Peace, Justice and Reconciliation”. Co-chairmen, Executive Council of IDFP, Ishaq Kunle Sanni and Bishop Sunday Onuoha, at a press conference yesterday in Abuja, said the security situation in the country had improved.
