The Accord Party’s AP governorship candidate, Admiral Jibrin Usman Oyibe, has today bagged another award as he receives the Arise Igala leadership award for the decade.
According to Arise Igala Magazine convener Onojo J. Okpanachi, the award was determined by critically looking back ten years to see the people who have selflessly impacted the Igala by virtue of their achievements while in public office.
The convener disclosed that Admiral Jibrin Usman Oyibe defeated five others in the category to emerge as the best leader of the decade in the Igala kingdom.
The convener says the award became necessary after privately researching the many wonderful achievements of the former Chief of Naval Staff, affirming that he stands out as the most qualified amongst the five others selected.
Admiral Jibrin Usman Oyibe, while receiving the award, thanked the organizers for painstakingly researching his contributions to Igala Kingdom during his days as the chief of naval staff, stressing that he has plans in place to replicate and surpass such feats when he becomes governor of Kogi State.
I remain committed to our people, and I will continue to do anything humanly possible to ensure progress in the land. He said.
