A former National President of Nigerian Medical Association (NMA),and Commissioner for Health under Capt Idris Wada administration, Dr. Idris Omede, has been confirmed as the deputy governorship candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the November 2023 Kogi election.
Omede will fly the ADC joint ticket with the governorship candidate of ADC, Hon. Leke Abejide.
A party source confirmed to our reporter that Omede’s name has been successfully uploaded to INEC portal as substitution for the initial placeholder, Dauda Onoruoiza Usman.
The source hinted that Dr. Omede will officially unveiled by the party next week.
Dr. Omede, a former Health Commissioner in Kogi state, is also a former National President of Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria (APBN).
