In absolute reverence to traditional institution, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for November 11th governorship election in Kogi State, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman (OAU) has visited the Ohimege-Igu of Koton-Karfe, HRM, Alhaji Abdulrazaq Isah Koto.
Alhaji Ododo who led his team to the palace of the paramount ruler of Kogi Local Government Area, thanked him for his invaluable contributions to the development of his domain and beyond.
While seeking his blessings for his governorship ambition, Alhaji Ododo assured the monarch of sustaining the current respect and recognition being accorded the traditional institution when he assumes office as Executive Governor of Kogi State.
He stressed that the roles of Kogi monarchs in sustaining peaceful co-existence across Kogi communities has been exceptional, adding that such complementary effort is needed for success in contemporary governance.
Pronouncing royal blessings on Alhaji Ododo, the monarch expressed optimism that his administration would build further on the development so far recorded in the state.
