Ajaka Ward 1 APC executives lay to rest controversy around the suspension of Muri from the party, saying signatures were obtained by fraud.

In a dramatic change of events, news reports claiming that Yakubu Murtala Ajaka Ajaka was suspended from the APC has been definitively proved to be fake news.

All executives of the party in the Ward in a video posted on the Facebook page of Opaluwa Ugbede Omera revealed that their names and signatures were fraudulently received by the councilor representing Ajaka Ward1 in Igalamela local government council.

The party officials further said the councilor got their signatures having lied to them that he was acting on the instructions of Governor Yahaya Bello.

As of yesterday night , the governor vehemently denied knowledge of a possible suspension of Mr. Ajaka from the party.

In a swift reaction to the turn of events, Muri said that it was desperate political hacks who are sinking that are catching straws by deviously attempting to drive a wedge between the governor and himself. He advised all party members to stay true to progressives’ creed at this trying moment, adding that “our strength lies in our unity”.
