“Let me tell you that this was the position I was occupying before I became the national chairman of our great party, APC. Therefore, I wish to appeal to you all to give Architect Shehu Tukur the full support to succeed.
“This is because he is a man who is very patient and calm. He contested governorship primary in 2019 and lost to our present governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule. APC won that election, but Architect Tukur was never at any time or anywhere seen bragging that he brought the governor.
“However, it is discouraging for one boy, a disobedient one for that matter, to be going around that he was the one that made the governor. We will not take this.” -Senator Abdullahi Adamu
