Former Vice-President and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar received Rivers State governor, frontline aspirant and runner-up in the PDP primary, Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, at his Abuja residence.
Atiku made this known via Twitter on Wednesday.
The meeting, according to the PDP candidate, was aimed at forging a united front ahead of the forthcoming election.
“It was a pleasure to receive His Excellency Nyesom Wike in the company of notable leaders and officials of our great party at my residence today.
“I am proud of the promises that this spirit of camaraderie holds for our party as a united front that guarantees victory in the next election to rescue the country,” he tweeted.
Present at the meeting were the National vice-chairman South-South of the party, Chief Dan Orbih and former Attorney-General of the Federation, Mohammed Bello Adoke, SAN.
