Atiku Abubakar on Saturday , emerged the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential candidate ahead of 2023 Presidential election .
The chairman of the electoral committee, Governor Douye Diri, announced Atiku the winner of the election after the votes were counted.
Beaten his close rival Nyeson Wike who scored 237 votes against Atiku of 371 votes
