The insinuation of endorsement of Abdulahi Adamu after a photograph is not true, Senator Sani disclosed this while speaking with the OBSERVERSTIMES, the Senator who is hopeful of wining the National Chairmanship race said that What turned out to be a group picture of Distinguished Senators taken shortly after Wednesday’s plenary was misconstrued by mischief makers to depict a tacit endorsement of another aspirant.
According to the Senator: “I like our people to know that there was no such thing.”
Recalls in a statement obtained by the. OBSERVERSTIMES from Senator Abdullahi Adamu team alleged that the senate President Senator Ahmed lawan, Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo Agege and other Principal Officer of the 9th National Assembly, endorsed Senator Abdullahi Adamu for National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC today at the National Assembly Abuja.
The investigation revealed that it’s a tradition in the senate where principal officers of the senate collectively take a group photograph after plenary.
