We Need More Support from Dekina Old Boys Association, DOBA;

The Principal, Government Science Secondary School Dekina in Kogi state,Mr Onalo Abimaje Mathew has urged members of Dekina Old Boys Association (DOBA) to emulate the good virtues and philantrophic tendencies of the Director General, National Productivity Centre NPC,Dr Kashim Akor on the donation of new sets of computers to the school.

The Principal made this observation while receiving donations of new desktops and printers as well as Laptop presented to the Institution by the Director- General National Productivity Centre, Dr kashim Akor

He said the intervention will go along away to expose not only the staff and students of the college to computer literacy, but will also assist in the designation of the school as a JAMB Examination Centre.

The school head stated that the high quality products of HP will go along way to serve the school of all modest and current knowledge across the globe.

The Principal of the college used the opportunity to appeal to other DOBA’s to contribute their own quota in all areas of development in the college.

The college according to the principal required a well equipped school clinic, a functional school bus, Electricity within the school compound to protect the laboratory equipment of the Institution among other needs.

He added that the intervention of NPC will open up a vista of online learning in the school .

In his remark the school Head Boy
Okechukwu Chukwuemeka,thanked the Director General National Productivity Centre NPC,Dr Kashim Akor for remembering his alma mata,saying the prayers of the entire students will be with him.

The presentation was done on behalf of hi s Personal Assistant Mall Faruk Yunusa who warned the students against vandalisation of the donated equipment.
