Femi Fani Advises APC To Retain Gov.Buni As It’s National Chaiman.

Following the suit filed by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Yobe State against the current Governor, Governor Mala Mai Buni, a former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has advised the All Progressive Congress not to withdraw the governor as its National Caretaker Committee Chairman.

Yesterday, the Premium Times reported that the Peoples Democratic Party in Yobe filed a suit against Governor Mala Mai Buni and his deputy for taking up another executive role while still serving as the executive Governor of the State. The opposition party made it known to the Federal High Court that the National Caretaker Committee is another executive position, and it was wrong for a serving Governor to take up such a position, adding that the Court should pronounce the sit of the governor vacant.

However, a fellow member of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has kicked against this. According to Femi Fani-Kayode, he made it know that it would be a grave mistake if the All Progressive Congress withdrew Governor Mala Mai Buni as its National Chairman. He said the reason for this was that, under his rulership, Mala Mai Buni has successfully lured three Governors of the opposition party, Senators, House of Reps members, former Ministers, and all other notable members of the opposition within a year.

Speaking further, Femi Fani-Kayode noted that apart from Mala Mai Buni being a formidable intellectual, he is a man of his word and an absolute gentleman. He also established that the Governor is cerebral, moderate, fair-minded, civilized, and focused.

Therefore, he, Femi Fani-Kayode, will love Governor Mala Mai Buni to continue as the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress.
