CHIEF OGWU JAMES ONOJA, SAN, THE AGENYI ATTAH OF IGALA KINGDOM IN COMMEMORATION OF HIS 53RD BIRTHDAY HAS COMMISIONED THE CONSTRUCTION AND FURNISHING OF THREE CLASSROOM BLOCKS IN ADUMU-OGUGU, KOGI STATE.
Over the last three decades Chief Ogwu James Onoja (SAN) have devoted his life to serving the cause of humanity, empowering lives, providing basic social amenities to communities, granting scholarship to indigent students and impacting the nation. It is intriguing that he has consistently been growing on career path and steadily advancing on the corporate ladder amidst these humanitarian gestures. As a sports lover and agent of peaceful coexistence, he founded Unyi Ogugu Football Tournament which has been of enormous assistance to the youths across Ogugu communities in rediscovering, reshaping and developing their talents in this all important and most widely acclimatized sporting endeavour. He has been consistently paying NECO fees for fina yearl students across these communities.
Chief Onoja, raised by devout Christian parents was nurtured and bred to constantly exemplify the life and leadership template of Christ in the way of selfless service and generosity to all. He with the copious support of his amiable wife, Lady Rosemary Onoja, is always moved by the desire to make people better than he met them and further motivated by a spiritual mantra drawn from the holy Scriptures; “Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith. (Galatians 6:10).
Together with his wife, Rosemary, they founded The DEACON JOB AND OMADA ONOJA FOUNDATION, an organization christened after his parents to immortalize them and sustain their legacy of Service and Generosity. Chief Onoja has through this foundation extended his humanitarian proclivity and Philanthropic strides to myriads of beneficiaries and to communities in Nigeria particularly in Kogi State.
Chief Ogwu James Onoja woke up to a brand new 2021, grateful to God for health, for preservation and for life, hence he elected to mark his 53rd birthday devoid of the usual convention of hosting an elaborate 5Star event full of pomp and pageantry, glitz, glamour and the blitz with the creme of the Crop of society gracing it.
No! This time he has suspended his complex itinerary with its herculean demands to connect and hangout with abandoned, less fortunate and vulnerable children at the orphanage to share the warmth of his company with them and meet their critical needs; providing them with Clothing, Foot Wears, Food Supplies, Basic Medicare, and other Items of value to human existence.
Amongst activities marking this birthday is the CONSTRUCTION AND FURNISHING OF THREE CLASS ROOM BLOCKS in honour of his wife at her village, Adum-Ogugu, Olamaboro Local Government Area, Kogi State worth a whooping sum of 21, million Naira due for commissioning in June this year
Apart from ameliorating the infrastructural deficit in the education sector thereby boosting the educational growth and development of Kogi State and Nigeria, this gesture is a LEGACY PROJECT solely dedicated to his wife, Lady Rosemary Onoja, to honour her for her unwavering support, undying love, relentless partnership and devotion to the family and the building of the OGWU JAMES ONOJA BRAND. It is also to honour her people from where she was birthed and donated to help him complement and fulfill his destiny.
