50.8 Kogi Bailout Fund; Governor Bello Pays Paltry Arrears Of 10% Across Board,Instead Of 40% Salary Arrears 

Kogi governors promise to offset the balance of 40% percentage salary paid between August and December 2017 has hit the rock,as workers from the rank of Permanent Secretaries to Junior officers got 10% of their entitlements  of five months salaries THE OBSERVERS TIMES confirmed
It was reliably gathered that some junior civil servants got as low as 500 Naira alert in their account as 10% of their take home pay, within the period under review
Some Directors,Permanent secretaries and other senior staffers of the state ministry in the state got between as high as 40,000,30,000,15,000 and 17,000 variously instead of the 40% of the balance translating to as high as 400,000 for very senior civil servants and others
The Labour leaders had insisted on payment of the areas of 2017 between August and December owed the state workers, due to percentage payment to the workers within the period
THE OBSERVERS TIMES can report that In a press release monitored by the joint workers union,it was confirmed that the union promised to make a public statement over the workers salaries, until the balance of arrears of workers in 2017 is address, before the November governorship election
The penchant for Kogi Governor Over non payment of workers salaries has been an object of controversy, as the deputy governor made it public that salary payment in Kogi has been muddled up since the inception of this administration, as Governor Bello will not be able to offset the workers arears
Few months to the 2019 kogi governorship election,workers are still battling to get their monthly pay, owing to the refusal of the state government to show commitment to workers welfare
State and local government workers are not sure of assessing salaries before the end of this administration, as the last payment was made out of the Bail out fund released by the federal authorities to the tune of 30.8 billion naira meant for workers
