Some Directors,Permanent secretaries and other senior staffers of the state ministry in the state got between as high as 40,000,30,000,15,000 and 17,000 variously instead of the 40% of the balance translating to as high as 400,000 for very senior civil servants and others
The Labour leaders had insisted on payment of the arears of 2017 between August and December owed the state workers, due to percentage payment to the workers within the period
In a press release monitored by the joint workers union,it was confirmed that the union promised to make a public statement over the workers salaries, until the balance of arrears of workers in 2017 is address, before the November governorship election
