DCP slumps, dies at Force Headquarters

A Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr Abubakar Muhammad Guri on Monday, reportedly slumped and died at the Force Headquarters.

NewsBand gathered that DCP Muhammad died shortly after entering his office at the Louis Edet House, Force Headquarters, Abuja, without showing any sign of ailment.

A source said the late police chief in his uniform, slumped on his seat inside his office and was quickly rushed to the hospital for medical attention, where he was confirmed dead.

“Some officers rushed him to the hospital and even before reaching there, he had already passed away”, the source said.

Meanwhile, police authorities are yet to issue an official statement in respect to the unfortunate incident.
