PDP Leaders Confident of Victory in 2027 Elections

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is poised to regain power in 2027, according to the party’s acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum, and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde. They made this declaration at a grand reception ceremony in Umuahia, Abia State, celebrating the 76th birthday of Senator Adolphus Wabara, Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees.

Damagum expressed the party’s determination to “come back sound, healthy, and victorious” in 2027, urging party faithful to remain resilient in the face of challenges. Governor Makinde praised Senator Wabara for restoring hope in the party’s Board of Trustees and expressed confidence that the PDP would produce the next government in Nigeria.

The occasion brought together prominent PDP leaders, including Governors Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State and Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, as well as members of the PDP Board of Trustees and National Working Committee. Senator Wabara emphasized the party’s unity, stating that those who have left the party will rediscover their roots in the next few years.

The event showcased the PDP’s renewed energy and commitment to reclaiming power in 2027.
