President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to evaluate the performance of his cabinet members this week, ahead of the administration’s first anniversary next week. The ministers, who took office on August 21st last year, will reach their nine-month mark tomorrow.
According to sources, the President will receive a comprehensive performance evaluation report, assessing the ministers’ progress in achieving the administration’s eight priority areas. The report will be based on quarterly assessments conducted by the CDCU and the Citizens’ Delivery Tracker App, which has been monitoring the ministers’ performance and their portfolios.
The ministers had signed a performance bond, which will play a significant role in determining their fate. The President’s decision on the ministers’ continued service will be final, taking into account the evaluation report and Nigerians’ verdict on their performance.
This review comes at a critical juncture, as the administration marks its first anniversary and looks to assess its progress, identify areas for improvement, and make necessary adjustments to drive its agenda forward.
