Nigerien terrorist leader declared wanted as 227 killed, 529 nabbed in one week–Gen Buba

 

The Nigerian Armed Forces have declared notorious terrorist leader Halilu Buzu wanted, as part of their intensified efforts to combat terrorism in the country.

Buzu, a prominent cattle rustler, illegal gold miner, and arms supplier, is responsible for the killing of 19 villagers in Farar Kasa last week, and is believed to be hiding in the Subbubu Forest and Shinkafi LGA of Zamfara State.

Major General Edward Buba, Director Defence Media Operations disclosed this during a routine media briefing on Thursday in Abuja, said troops are hot on the trail of Buzu, and the Nigerian authorities have been called upon to apprehend and hold him accountable for his atrocities.
