Peter Obi Breaks Fast with Muslims in Kano, Establish Borehole in Mosque

The Presidential Candidate of Labour Party, LP in the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi on Monday stormed the ancient city of Kano to break fast with the Muslim faithfuls.

Obi visited the Fagge local government area of the state to break the fast with Muslim faithfuls at the Jibril Umar Jibril mosque popularly known as Triumph mosque.

He however, paid homage to the Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero at his palace.

Speaking shortly after the breakfast, Peter Obi acknowledged the fact that he is committed to one Nigeria project.

In his words,“I am happy being here with all of you, I came here and brought food so that we can break fast and eat together as brothers.

“And I assure you of our commitment that we have in Nigeria where all people can live a better life and have peace of mind. And will live together as one. We are one. This country belongs to all of us. So thank you for the opportunity,” Obi said.

Meanwhile, Obi had earlier drilled a borehole at the Sheikh Aminu Daurawa mosque in Dandalin Fagge area of the state.
