Arise TV presenter Rufai Oseni has lamented the performance of the Super Eagles at Africa Cup of Nations after losing to host nations Ivory Coast.
In a series of posts late Sunday night via his X handle, Oseni reacted to the defeat stating that ‘this was an easy final to win’ but ‘we ruined it’.
He wrote: “Oh my God! We screwed up! I said it this team was too complacent. It’s over!
“The team was too complacent and Peseiro really isn’t a good coach.
“Safe to say good game Ivory Coast. We ruined this final.
“Honestly this was an easy final to win for Nigeria but we ruined it.
“Good game Ivory Coast! Better luck next time Nigeria.
“Don’t politicize this loss, it’s not about politics, the team was woeful
“We had just one shot on goal! We were terrible today.
“So upset I really hoped the boys would win it for those that died during the semifinals. That makes me sad
“So let’s go back to our problems, food is expensive ooo”
