A former Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Elder Wole Oyelese, has cautioned people who are close to Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State against making unnecessary comments that can affect the chances of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2023.

Oyelese made this disclosure on Monday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital said  the governor might have disappointed him by gullibly following governor Wike without considering when to part ways with him politically in his own political interest,

OBSERVERSTIMES recall that Makinde and some PDP governors have vowed not to support the presidential candidate of PDP, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku.

He added that those who are close to the governor, especially his aides should not take advantage of the current happenings in the party to cause more division among the party members and leaders.

He said that leaders of the party will not allow those whom he called detractors to destroy the party.

He added that destructive activities will not be in the interest of either the governor, the party or the candidates of the party.

Oyelese said, “Detractors cannot destroy PDP In Oyo.
