2023 Polls: Kogi PDP Leaders Meet Vice Presidential Candidate, Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa

Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State on Saturday held a crucial meeting with the Vice Presidential candidate of the party and Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.

The meeting which held at the Delta State Governors Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja in preparation for the 2023 general elections, had in attendance; former governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris; former deputy governor of Kogi State, Chief Patrick Adaba; Senator Tunde Ogbeha and Kogi Central PDP senatorial candidate, Chief Barr. Natasha Hadiza Akpoti-Uduaghan.

Others include; Senator Dino Melaye, the governorship candidate of the party in the last Kogi gubernatorial election, Engr. Musa Wada, Kogi State PDP Chairman, Engr. Dr. Samuel Uhuotu and other bigwigs of the party in the state.

While details of the meeting are still sketchy, an insider told our reporter that discussions bothered on going into the 2023 polls as a united political family to ensure all candidates of the party emerge victorious.

The leaders assured Okowa of massive votes from the state during the presidential elections.
