2023: Jang, Useni unite, pledge to work together

by

Former governor of Plateau State Senator Jonah David Jang and former FCT Minister Gen. Jeremiah Useni (rtd) have both pledge to unite and work together for the success of the PDP Congresses in Plateau State and also ensure that the party takes over power from the APC come 2023.

The two PDP elders made the pledge at the weekend in Jos when Sen. Jang paid a solidarity visited to Gen. Useni in his residence to encourage him after he lost his governorship appeal at the Supreme Court recently.
Jang said the visit was to commend the dogged fight put up by the PDP gubernatorial candidate from the tribunal right up to the Supreme Court, saying if there were another court higher than the Supreme Court, he was sure Sen Useni would have approached it.

“Let us work together to build a formidable party in the state, and to prepare to take over power from APC in 2023,” he said.

Jang, who is the board member of the PDP, urged that forgiveness is needed where members have offended each other.

“Lets put our heads together to make sure this party comes back in 2023, there should be no division, we are all one and the umbrella is big enough to cover all of us

“I want to plead that if there are any misgivings anywhere we should forgive each other for the progress of the party, to correct the mistakes and wrongs ahead of the Congresses and to take over power from APC,  because Plateau State is a PDP state, APC is in power by mistake,” he said.
