2023 General Election: What Nigerians Should Expect From PDP – Sen Samuel Anyanwu

by

Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu has identified good governance, formidable security, quality education, good road network and peace of mind among others as what Nigerians should expect in 2023 when the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) wrestles power from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Anyanwu, a chieftain of PDP in Imo state maintained that the fulfillment of the expectations were in line with the programmes of the party which remain non negotiable, noting that when the policies were provided, it would boost the morale of Nigerians to believe in their leaders.

He cautioned those in government to stop seeing provision of good governance to the people as mere privilege, rather than their fundamental human rights, advising them to always respect those that elected them.

Senator Anyanwu therefore called on the youths to engage themselves in relevant skills that would position them for leadership opportunities in future, instead of roaming about the streets without target.

According to him, the only hope of survival for the country was for Nigerians to embrace PDP, adding that the party’s determination to improve security, economy and other welfare packages the people had yearned for, would never be compromised.

He wondered how the youths allow themselves to be used by selfish politicians to cause crisis, advising parents to teach their children how to live decent lives capable of bringing solutions to Nigerian economic problems.

Anyanwu therefore enjoins the youths not to shy away from checkmating political office holders, adding that the efforts were targeted at instilling good governance in the country.
