A prominent security expert, People’s Democratic Party PDP starlwart, one time Governorship Aspirant in the 2019 Kogi election, Dr Chief Joe Ameh Erico has begin consultation to represent the good people of Ankpa federal Constituency in 2023 under his party
Dr Chief Erico in a synopsis released to news men said his political ideology of service to humanity rather than self aggrandizement has occassioned his decision to throw into the ring.
Dr Erico said with him as representative of the area, gone were the days of throwing crumbs to constituents, by denying them of dividends of democracy through series of development from social, economic and self sustenance/ reliance.
He said the constituents are tired of all manner of gimmicks from the political class that cannot provide portable drinking water, transformers and electricity, building of schools both primary and secondary, basic health care, provision of engagement routes in the 23 years of democratic inception to Nigeria, the basic needs of the people, but only window dressing and empty promises.
He promised to articulate his campaign promises when given the opportunity and execute them to the later in the course of time.
Chief Erico maintained that all hands must be on deck to rescue the people of the area from shylock politicians at the corridor of power, to revert to the well being of our people.
He said when elected, he will not only unite the people, but create a forum of rendering stewardship as at when due.
