The Iheris University Togo, a Pan European University on Saturday conferred an Honorary Doctorate Degree in ‘International Relations And Diplomacy ’ on Alhaji Khalifa Abdulraman Okene.
Dr. G.G Gonma, the Director International Affairs/Member Organizing Committee to the Institution , disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists in Togo.

Dr Gonma said the award was personally received by Khalifa Abdulraman Okene, President,
Khalifa Care Foundation. who led a high-powered delegation of four persons to Lome for the event.
He stated that the conferment of the Doctor Honoris Causa on Khalifa was in recognition of the “philanthropy passion, commitment and great enthusiasm in providing strategic leadership and selfless service to the people of Africa and the Nigerian nation in particular .”
Khalifa , while thanking the institution’s Governing Council and its management for finding him worthy of the award, offered to explore more areas of cooperation with the university.
He said that the institution appreciated the giant strides the philanthropist was making to Nigeria and the entire African.
Presenting the certificate to the Philanthropist on behalf of the university, the institution’s Registrar, said the award given was based on excellence and hard work in human relationships .
