The Director General National Productivity Centre NPC ,Dr Kashim Akor says the partnership between the Centre and the National Assembly members to deliver their Constituency projects to the people is the best thing that can happen to Nigeria.

He stated this during a half hour program tagged ‘Productivity Half Hour’ on Radio Nigeria and monitored by OBSERVERS TIMES.

Dr Akor says as an institution that preaches productivity not only in words, but practice,delivering dividends of democracy to the electorates through capacity building, skill acquisition and development as well as empowerment is another strategy to enhance the productivity of our people.

He says the National Assembly members as custodians of the mandate of the ordinary Nigerians as their Constituents in partnership with the Centre had been able to deliver a lot of productive programs to the people.

This is done through the domiciling of Constituency projects of members for onward delivery to their Constituents, through efficient management of both the projects and the beneficiaries for effective, optimum perfomance and self sustenance.

Dr Akor inspects Road and Drainage construction in Lagos under the rain to ensure value for money.

Dr Akor says through this new template, genuine capacity building,skill acquisition and quality developement, training, empowerment, sensitisation,job creation and general wealth creation to enhance quality of lives of the citizens are put in place.

He says the conviction of members of the National Assembly on the well thought out and timely execution of projects and programmes by the Centre had ensured good life for their constituents.

The NPC helmsman commended the members of the National Assembly for their belief in the operation and activities of the Centre, which intend to establish a creative and productive lives to all Nigerians.
