Social Democratic Party pays condolence visit to deceased vice chairman

The Social Democratic Party has, on the 11th of August, paid a condolence visit to the family of one of its deceased vice chairman.

Late Hon. Micheal Mustapha Ibrahim, popularly known as MM, until his death a week ago, was the vice chairman, Eastern senatorial district of the party in Kogi state.
In a condolence letter signed by the National Secretary, he was described as a patriotic, selfless and diligent leader who was a bridge builder. It was also noted that his contributions would be dearly missed as the party positions itself to take over leadership of the country.
The delegation which was led by the state chairman, Alh. Mouktar Atima, had as members the state secretary, Dr. Okeme Arome, state asst PRO Egbunu Raphael and all the LGA chairmen from the East and their secretaries. The state chairman described him as a dear brother and leader who was always there when he was needed, expressing regret that he will miss him unquantifiably.
Receiving the delegation, the Ofu LGA party chairman where the deceased is from, Pst Offor Musa and the elder brother of the deceased at the family compound, appreciated the gesture and described the deceased as a pillar in the Local government and that the vacuum created by his departure will be difficult to fill.
Late Hon. Micheal Mustapha Ibrahim died in the early hours of Sunday, 6th of August 2020, after a protracted illness. He leaves behind his aged parents, brothers and sisters, 5 children and a wife.
