The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that the incumbent governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki, remain the party’s strongest governorship candidate ahead of the forthcoming election in the state.
Deputy National Chairman of the party Senator Shuaibu Lawan told newsmen amidst rousing reception he received when he resumed back to the national secretariat on Wednesday.
Staff of the party were seen jubilating in and outside the party house immediately Lawan arrived at about 3:20pm.
Comrade Oshiomhole had announced lifting of suspension on Lawan on Tuesday.
