Rt Hon Mathew Kolawole,Speaker Kogi House of Assembly,have reportedly slumped, and been resuscitated in an undisclosed hospital located in the Federal Capital Territory, the speaker is receiving treatment in an intensive care unit ICU in Abuja,THE OBSERVERS TIMES.
The Kogi speaker was rushed out of town ( Lokoja),to an unknown destination by his aides, before it was confirmed to be in Abuja the hospital source confirmed that the speaker is suffering from A Ischemic stroke which occurs when part of the brain loses its blood supply and stops working,this causes the part of the body that the injured brain controls to stop working.
THE OBSERVERS TIMES confirmed that Honourable Kolawole was said to be in coma as at the time of filing this report,hence giving the current leaders in Lugard house, a course for worry in the build up to next month election though, Hon Ahmed Ahmed from Ankpa presided over the leadership of the house meeting last week thursday.
According to medical expert,the state lawmaker will take upward of three to six months to regain consciousness,hence may not be able to perform any responsibilities on or before the stipulated time
Kolawole’s efforts saw the APC candidates in the last state assembly election cruising to victory,as a strong confidant of the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, He is believed to be a seasoned political magician, having won for the third time as member of the state assembly and speaker in the last assembly and the current dispensation.
Chief Mathew Kolawole believed strongly in Governor Yahaya Bello as his benefactor, having risen to his political pedestal during his tenure, even though he was a product of prophecy given to him by Popular Abuja pastor, Brother Joshua Iginla who told him before then that, he saw him been led by a convoy, six months later, he became Kogi speaker on a platter of Gold
Honourable Kolawole confirm this development during a testimony and thank you visit to the general overseer of the church, Champions Royal Assembly, Chikakore, Kubuwa Abuja sometimes last year
Kolawole annonunced to the congregation that the grace of his prophecy and the church, also made him Acting Governor of the state, when the governor was away from the state, instead of the Deputy Govenor, Simon Achuba, the least he thought of becoming that year.
As at press time, confidant of speaker have made emissaries to the Popular Abuja pastor, who was confirmed to have relocated to South Africa in the last two months, for further evangelism
Honourable Kolawole who so much believe in miracles and wonders insisted on the prayers and intervention of Abuja pastor, to facilitate his healing, recovery and deliverance
Speaking with THE OBSERVERS TIMES on the same development, a member of the state Assembly from Kogi West the same district with Kola confirmed that the ”speaker can now speak” but hopefully he will be better and return to work soon urges kogites to pray fo quick recovery of the speaker as anybody can fall sick
