The Peoples Democratic Party PDP aspirant Eng Musa Wada, has promised to capitalize on the state’s proximity to the FCT and make it a business hub of Nigeria.
Eng Wada disclosed this while addressing a mammoth crowd on a consultation tour to Bassa,Koton Karfi and Olamaboro local government area THE OBSERVERS TIMES gathered
Wada entrance into the ancient town of Koton Karfi was turned to a sort of August visit as Youth, Women and Elders in the community came out in their large numbers to welcome the aspirant, a man of timber and caliber.
Addressing the mammoth crowd, Musa Wada expressed readiness to uplift and vigorously develop Kogi State through capacity building and empowerment.
According to Eng Wada who was prevailed upon to contest the 2019 gubernatorial race, his election would be a gateway to an improved lifestyle for the people of the Confluence state “In Kogi State, we have enough human and natural capital to propel our economy and make it buoyant. And these are what I will be doing if I am given the opportunity to serve my people,” he said.
He maintained that all the state needed is a strategic thinking and political will to turn the tides around given the vast opportunities abound in the state.
Musa Wada who is seeking to govern Kogi State on the platform of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) noted that the state is still struggling as a result of constraints it is faced with, emphasizing the need for a quick correction to the said problem.
“If elected, the focus of my administration would be to synergize the human with the available resources to make the state a business hub of Nigeria and beyond,” he added.
The political consultation almost turned to a campaign rally as various groups in their hundreds joined Alh Musa Wada convoy,after receiving the blessings of Aguma of Bassa land and Ejeh of Dekina on a normal courtesy called.
The PDP aspirant proceeded to Olamabaro the delegates were happy and even offered prayers to musa Wada and his entourage and promising to stand by him during the primary.
His campaigned team also stormed Lokoja, Ibaji, Ijumu, Kabba, Yagba east, Yagba west, Ajaokuta delegates and stakeholders. The campaign team is meeting some stakeholders for the second time, and some for the third time Engr. Musa Wada was the first that started the tour and consultation of the delegates in Kogi state, but for some reasons we didn’t let them out online. where he receive another round of blessings the PDP youths were ordinary consultation turned a mini rally as Bike riders in their hundreds came around in various “Musa Wada 2019 ” posters to show solidarity with the aspirant who is re-defining issues-based political campaign in the state as delegations from various Local Governments across Kogi west especially Lokoja/Koto axis came in with messages of solidarity to Enf Musa Wada.
The first set of group came from Lokoja Local Government Area under the Musa Massive Movement MMM . They showered praises on the PDP aspirant and gave their total support to him.
The second group were the Cultural Dancers from Koto-Karfi Local Government. They assured him of their loyalty and support as at when due.
The Likes Mind Group of Ibaji Local Government were not left out. The group led by Hon. Yusuf Audu prayed for the success of Eng Musa Wada as he leads Kogi State to a greater height come November 2019. He said Musa Wada has the capacity to lead the State hence their presence to show solidarity.
The PDP Leaders/Exco led by Alh Ibrahim Omojo and other party leaders to came to Suitoria Hotel Lokoja pay homage to homage .
They assured him of their support, adding that he stand the chance to clinch the Governorship seat as a young man.
The women are not left out as well as the Women Ward Leaders across Lokoja Local Government comprising wards came to give their support to the ambition of Eng Musa Wada to become the next Governor of Kogi State come 2019. The group was led by Hajia Fatima Adamu.
As the Women Ward Leaders were about rounding up, the Pro PDP Women groups and their Leaders of across the Lokoja/Koto federal constituency came in their numbers to give their unflinching support to the Eng musa Wada.
